Remember Joe The Plumber? He was that bastion of integrity whose real name is not Joe, was not a plumber, said Obama wanted to obliterate Israel and said reporters should only report what they are told to in a time of war. So yeah he is a fucking idiot who is now trying to advocate we abolish the IRS and institute a fair tax or some idiotic thing like that. Yeah Joe's thought capacity might be lower than the republican approval ratings.
Well Joe is not done being an idiot. This is from a recant interview:
Christianity Today: In the last month, same-sex marriage has become legal in Iowa and Vermont. What do you think about same-sex marriage at a state level?
Joe The Plumber: At a state level, it's up to them. I don't want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it's wrong. People don't understand the dictionary—it's called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It's not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we're supposed to do—what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we're supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they're people, and they're going to do their thing.
So this fucking honky thinks calling people strange and unusual isn't a slur? I get sick of all these religious people who feel like they can demonize any minority group whether it be homosexuals or African Americans but they get up in arms if someone says anything remotely negative about them. And how homophobic can you get when you won't let your "gay friends" around your children? I'm sure your "gay friends" got caller id specifically to avoid talking to you asshole.
Also when Joe was asked if he would run for office he said he wasn't planning it right now but he stated “God hasn’t said, ‘Joe, I want you to run.’ I feel more important to just encourage people to get involved, one way or another. If I can inspire some leaders, that would be great. I don’t know if I want to be a leader" I know I don't want him to be a leader. Though I guess it is safe to say that God has told Joe to constantly shame and demonize gay people when ever you can.
